Eligibility Requirements
Referrals for the Empowerment Exchange essentials pantry are taken through school counselors. If you are in need of food, personal care items or other necessities, contact your child's school counselor or social worker to be considered for the Empowerment Exchange essentials pantry. The schools are responsible for selecting families who qualify.
To be eligible for the EmpowerHome program you must have:
proof of income (check stub, government benefits, unemployment benefits, etc.).
a letter/statement from your landlord or mortgage company confirming the overdue amount, or the overdue utility bill.
a written statement and/or verifiable evidence of recent hardship.
Eligibility for an Empowered Living Housing Solution will be determined in collaboration with partnering organizations providing housing and/or funding for housing.
All persons eligible for any services or programs provided by the Georgia Foundation for Empowered Living, Inc. will be eligible to participate in activities, learning and programs made available through the Empowered Living Learning Center.
In addition to requirements noted above one must provide the following:
For head of household, a current government issued, picture ID
For other household members one of the following is acceptable:
Current government issued, picture ID
Social security card
Birth certificate
Passport
Health insurance card
Proof of income (check stub, government benefits, unemployment benefits etc.)
